Blue Hole Park

What it's actually like

Blue Hole Park is a national park in Hamilton Parish, at the foot of Blue Hole Hill, near the western end of the Causeway, the road across to the airport. Go To Bermuda knows it for its mangrove pool and Causeway Cave, a deep-water grotto fed by the tides of Castle Harbour. Riders know it for the small sandy beach where the wingfoilers launch.

The local kite community’s spot guide calls it a popular launch with wingfoilers, rarely used by kiters, and one of the less choppy places on the island.

In the record, each of those months clears 12 knots for three daylight hours on about two days in three or more, and February is the pick at about 82 per cent, roughly 25 days in 30.
